How it works
Every number has a
“how we got this” under it.
An audit is only useful if you can check it. Here's what we look at, how we calculate it, and what you get.
Read-only access
You add our reporting account to Google Ads as read-only (2-minute guide). For Meta, partner access with “view performance” only. We use the official Google Ads API and Meta Marketing API. No browser logins, no passwords, no scraping.
We collect 60–90 days, day by day
Campaigns and budgets · keywords and the actual search terms people typed · hour of day and day of week · device · distance from your location · every conversion action and what it's worth. Ninety days is the sweet spot: enough data to separate signal from noise, recent enough to still describe your account today.
We match spend to paid jobs
Google counts a form fill and a $5,000 job the same way. We don't. We use completed jobs your shop software or CRM already sends back to Google Ads, or a simple export if it doesn't. That gives cost per customer for every campaign, not just cost per lead.
We rank findings by dollars, and by confidence
Each finding states the sample size behind it. Fewer than 10 clicks or leads? We'll say it's a hint, not a conclusion. We'd rather tell you three things that are certainly true than twenty that might be.
You get a receipt and a plan
Where money went, what it bought, where to move it, how much, and the week-1, week-3 and day-90 checkpoints that tell us whether the change worked. You or your agency approve every change.
What we look for
The usual leaks.
Winners capped, losers funded
Your best campaign losing 30–50% of impressions to budget while a weak one spends freely.
Clicks from people who'll never buy
Job seekers, DIY-ers, students, competitors' customers. Each one costs a click.
Too far to be profitable
Distance rings show where cost per job jumps. We measure the cliff instead of guessing a radius.
Ads running when nobody answers
Paid calls at lunch, at night, on Sundays. We line spend up with when jobs actually come from.
“Conversions” that aren't customers
Page views, chat opens or duplicate calls counted as conversions, teaching Google to find the wrong people.
Ads that get clicks, not customers
For Meta: which images and videos produce booked jobs, not just cheap leads.
Then what
Monthly, we keep score.
After the audit you can stop, make the changes yourself, or have us keep going for a flat monthly fee: a monthly receipt, recommendations, and a cost-per-job comparison against your starting point.
We record your baseline before anything changes, so three months later the question “did it work?” has a number for an answer.
Flat fee, never a percentage of ad spend. An agency on 15% of spend earns more when you spend more. We only look good when the same budget buys more customers.
See your own receipt.
Grant read-only access to your Google Ads account. In 2–3 business days you get a plain-English audit showing the dollars that produced customers and the dollars that didn't. Free, no obligation.
